Billy D'z Backyard BBQ Coming to Newbury Park This Fall

Update 11/17/11: The owners of Billy D'z say that their grand opening will be Monday, November 28th! Looking pretty nice in there. Situated in between Tomodachi and Subway across the parking lot from Fresh and Easy.

Originally posted 10/3/11: For those of you driving in the vicinity of Wendy Drive and Old Conejo Road in Newbury Park, you may have noticed this sign facing Wendy at the Conejo Gateway shopping center.

Yes, it looks like another BBQ restaurant is in the works in the Conejo Valley! Billy D'z Backyard BBQ is a brand new restaurant. Don't know the exact date yet, but check their website at www.billydzbbq.com for updates.

Billy D'z is about a mile away from another recently opened BBQ place, Ranch Hand BBQ, that opened on September 1st.  Recession or no recession, we gotta eat, right? So what better to eat than BBQ!
