Samuelson Aquatics Center Community Pool at CLU in Thousand Oaks

The Community Pool at Samuelson Aquatics Center is the result of a unique collaboration between the University, the Conejo Recreation and Park District and the City of Thousand Oaks.  This year-round facility includes a nice shade structure, picnic tables, outdoor showers, classes and more. The seven-lane pool serves as a warm-up pool for CLU athletes during competitions.  It is available to the local community, swim clubs and masters swimmers.

Recreational swim hours vary but the pool is open 7 days per week. Pool heated up to 84 degrees.

Pool hours and fees are at www.crpd.org/programs-sports/aquatics. As of June 2024, $4 admission for ages 2 to 61 and $3 for ages 62+ (no discount given for walk-ins; must reserve in advance).

Kids Club at The Collection at RiverPark on Designated Wednesdays in the Summer

The Collection at Riverpark is offering free, family-friendly fun at Kids Club, sponsored by Sunny Smiles Dentistry for Children and Young Adults. Kids Club events are open to all children and families. Don’t give the little ones a chance to say they’re bored this summer!
 
Kids Club will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon on the grass at Collection Park and take place on the following Wednesdays: June 12, 26, July 10, 24 and August 7.
 
Bring the kids and a picnic blanket to the grass at Collection Park for a fun-filled morning of entertainment, crafts and fun surprises.

Freedom Park BMX Raceway in Camarillo

Developed through the generous support of the Pleasant Valley Recreation & Park District, Freedom Park BMX Raceway is a bicycle motocross facility offering year-round recreational riding and competitive racing opportunities. Sanctioned by the American Bicycle Association - FP BMX provides a healthy, positive cycling environment for participants of all ages.

Freedom Park, at 528 Freedom Park Drive, Camarillo, is a 30 acre park featuring sports facilities of six soccer fields, three lighted softball fields, RC racetrack, BMX track and inline-hockey rink. Located at the Camarillo Airport, it also has a community center, playground and a 24-table group picnic shelter with barbecue grills.

Delano Athletica Junior Gymnastics in Ventura

Reef Volleyball Club is a member of the Southern California Volleyball Association, whose governing body is USA Volleyball. Reef’s program is for girls 18 years of age and younger. Janss Marketplace announces the themes for the 2024 FREE Kids Fun Zone, held from 12 – 2 p.m. on the last Saturday of each month from April through October.
