Many Mansions "Bowls of Hope" Event at Heritage Square in Oxnard on Sunday, October 12, 2025

Bowls of Hope aims to raise awareness for the need for affordable housing in our community, and to funds for Many Mansions’ programs that serve the formerly homeless, veterans, seniors, and families of very low income. The 2025 Bowls of Hope event will take place at Heritage Square in Oxnard from 11am to 2pm.

Designed to represent a soup kitchen, attendees select a bowl handcrafted by community members and enjoy delicious and comforting food, in community. Experience meaningful & fun family activities: an informative exhibition on the homelessness issue, affordable housing, and Many Mansions; an opportunity to take action and be part of the solution; crafts, games, a raffle, silent auction, and more!

2025 Sun Sets Summer Concert Series on Sunday Nights at Calabasas Lake - June to August

Spend your summer Sundays with great live music at the 2025 Summer Sun Sets Concert Series at Calabasas Lake

The traditionally private Calabasas Lake opens its doors to concert goers, providing a scenic backdrop and ample field seating for picnickers. The public is encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and sweaters. Some fixed seating is available on a first come first served basis. All performances are free to the public.

Valley Cultural Foundation’s Free Concerts at Warner Park in Woodland Hills - June 15 to August 24, 2025

Valley Cultural Foundation’s Free Concerts at Warner Park take place on Sunday evenings from June 15 to August 24, 2025 (except the Sunday after 4th of July). All concerts start at 5:30 PM with Emerging Artists Opening Act performances. Headliners will follow shortly after and end at 8 PM.

Located at the Nora Ross Bandshell at the Lou Bredlow Pavilion at 5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Woodland Hills. There is plenty of room for a late afternoon picnic with the family while being entertained by headline performers.

2025 Conejo Recreation & Park District Summer Concerts in the Park - May through September

The 2021 concert series will NOT look like this concert a couple years ago. This year’s concert series will be socially distanced and will require advance ticket purchases.

Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and picnics, then sit back and relax to the sounds of summer! The Conejo Recreation & Park District Summer Concerts in the Park is back again in 2025.

Jackets or sweaters are recommended as the weather often cools during the latter part of the event. Concert-goers are asked to leave pets at home. Concerts are FREE and open to the public.

Location: Conejo Community Park, 1175 Hendrix Avenue, Thousand Oaks
(off Gainsborough Road, at the intersection of Dover and Hendrix Avenues)

Time: All concerts begin promptly at 5:00pm and conclude at 7:00pm. Parking is offsite only; onsite parking is limited and reserved for cars with handicap placards.

39th Annual I Madonnari Italian Street Painting Festival at Santa Barbara Mission May 24-26, 2025

The I Madonnari Italian Street Painting Festival will be back over Memorial Day Weekend 2025, May 24-26. at the Old Mission Santa Barbara, 2100 Laguna Street. Festival hours are 10am to 6pm.

Madonnari, or street painters, transform the Santa Barbara Mission plaza each year over Memorial Day weekend using pastels on pavement to create over 100 vibrant and colorful, large scale images. The event is produced by the Children’s Creative Project.

There will also be live music and food available for purchase.

Pets are not allowed (other than service animals).
