Santa Susana Baseball League in Simi Valley

Santa Susana Baseball League has served the community of Simi Valley since 1962. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching children community baseball skills, teamwork and sportsmanship in the PONY sports tradition. 

Games played on Sundays. Ages 4 to 15. Season begins in mid-September. Registration takes place in mid to late August. Divisions include Shetland (ages 4-6), Pinto (ages 7-8), Mustang (ages 9-10), Bronco (ages 11-12) and Pony (ages 13-15). 

There’s also a spring league from February to June.

Simi Valley Public Library

The Simi Valley Public Library is located at 2969 Tapo Canyon Road. Previously part of the Ventura County Library System, the library became a municipal public library on July 1, 2013.

The library is open 7 days a week, 10am to 8pm Monday through Thursday, 1pm to 5pm on Friday and Sunday and 10am to 5pm on Saturday.

In addition to books and publications, the library has a meeting room, hosts special free events and programs for the community and allows for eBook downloads on its website.

Simi Valley Little League

Simi Valley Little League for the 2022 season is offering Challenger and Sr. Challenger divisions only. The Challenger division was established in 1989 for players with disabilities.

For the 2022 season, SVLL is not offering T-Ball, Minor, Major, Intermediate, Junior and Senior divisions.

Simi Valley Aquatics opened the first indoor swim school in Simi Valley in July 2016. The facility offers year-round swim lessons with two 90 degree pools for all ages, baby to adult.
