The Santa to the Sea Half Marathon, Quarter Marathon and 5K is planned for Sunday, December 10, 2023

The half marathon begins at the giant Santa located at 2801 Ventura Blvd., Oxnard and ends at Marine Emporium Landing in the Channel Islands Harbor. The half marathon and 5K start at 7:30am and the quarter marathon starts at 7:50am.

There’s also a Kids 1K at 8:30am. There’s also a Diaper Dash on Saturday, December 9th - babies only :)

This point to point course starts at the historic Santa Claus, off the 101 freeway, runs through Oxnard’s famous strawberry fields, then through downtown Oxnard and beautiful Plaza Park. Next will be historic Candy Cane Lane, where the homes are decorated for the holidays. Finally, you’re off to the Pacific Ocean, the beach, and finishing at the Marine Emporium Landing in the Channel Islands Harbor.

The 5K and kids 1K starts and finishes at the Marine Emporium Landing.

Santa to the Sea supports the Nyeland Acres community through food distributions, a toy giveaway, and scholarships to Oxnard College.
