2025 Pioneer Jamboree at Stagecoach Inn Newbury Park on Saturday, June 7th

The Stagecoach Inn Museum hosts its Annual Pioneer Jamboree from 1pm to 4 pm, Saturday, June 7, 2025, on the museum’s grounds at 51 S. Ventu Park Road, Newbury Park.

Bring the whole family to pan for gold, lasso like a cowgirl or cowboy, see a blacksmith fire-up the forge, and play pioneer games. Wear your western costumes (optional) and join the fun!

Activities include storytelling; cursive writing; fossil digging; rock painting; giant bubble making, and more! You can even try your hand at using a washboard… for laundry or for making music!

There are two parking locations- one next to the Museum on Ventu Park Road and one behind the Museum on Susan Drive.

General admission is $10. Children age 5 to 12 are $5 and under 5 are free. Conejo Valley Historical Society Members are free. Annual CVHS Family Memberships can be purchased online or at the door for as little as $50.

2025 Oxnard Insect Festival at Plaza Park on Saturday, June 7th

The City of Oxnard Recreation and Community Services Division hosts its 5th Annual Oxnard Insect Festival at Plaza Park, 500 S. C Street on Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Experience the world of insects through educational exhibits and enriching experiences. There will also be insects to touch, insects to taste, photo opps, bounce houses, live music and more. Valley Cultural Foundation’s Free Concerts at Warner Park in Woodland Hills - June 15 to August 24, 2025

Valley Cultural Foundation’s Free Concerts at Warner Park take place on Sunday evenings from June 15 to August 24, 2025 (except the Sunday after 4th of July). All concerts start at 5:30 PM with Emerging Artists Opening Act performances. Headliners will follow shortly after and end at 8 PM.

Located at the Nora Ross Bandshell at the Lou Bredlow Pavilion at 5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Woodland Hills. There is plenty of room for a late afternoon picnic with the family while being entertained by headline performers.

2025 City of Westlake Village TGIF and Saturday Concert Series This Summer

Summer evenings in Westlake Village provide the perfect backdrop for a great entertainment series. The annual TGIF Westlake Village series offers families a series of free performances at the Westlake Village Civic Center, 31200 Oak Crest Drive. 2025 Conejo Recreation & Park District Summer Concerts in the Park - May through September

The 2021 concert series will NOT look like this concert a couple years ago. This year’s concert series will be socially distanced and will require advance ticket purchases.

Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and picnics, then sit back and relax to the sounds of summer! The Conejo Recreation & Park District Summer Concerts in the Park is back again in 2025.

Jackets or sweaters are recommended as the weather often cools during the latter part of the event. Concert-goers are asked to leave pets at home. Concerts are FREE and open to the public.

Location: Conejo Community Park, 1175 Hendrix Avenue, Thousand Oaks
(off Gainsborough Road, at the intersection of Dover and Hendrix Avenues)

Time: All concerts begin promptly at 5:00pm and conclude at 7:00pm. Parking is offsite only; onsite parking is limited and reserved for cars with handicap placards.

2025 Camarillo Community Band Summer Concerts in the Park on Thursdays, July 10 to July 31

The Camarillo Community Band's 2025 Summer Concert Series is planned at Constitution Park, Carmen Drive at Paseo Camarillo on July 10, 17, 24 and 31.

Performances will start at 7:00pm (and end at approximately 8:30 pm). Free admission. Bring chairs, blankets and picnic dinners while enjoying the show.

The proceeds from the Moorpark Morning Rotary’s Field of Valor event will go to various non-profit organizations that provide direct support to local veterans and the families of our deployed military.

Cancer Support Valley/Ventura/Santa Barbara’s 7th Annual Hope Walk

Where: Cal Lutheran William Rolland Stadium, 60 W Olsen Rd, Thousand Oaks

This event is held in combination with National Cancer Survivors Day. Activities include a 5k walk (shorter route available), survivors’ lap, music, booths, food, kids’ activities, etc.

Since 1991, CSCVVSB has worked to fulfill its mission ensuring that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community. We offer professionally led support groups, individual counseling, networking groups, educational workshops, and healthy lifestyle classes. These programs are at no cost to participants.
