This is a great reconstruction of the US Airways Flight 1549 crash landing into the Hudson River on January 15, 2009. A local Los Angeles based company, Scene Systems, created the animation using flight path data from the New York Times, other news sources and eyewitness reports. Along with the animation is the cockpit audio recording, also amazing to hear once again how cool and calm Captain Sullenberger was.
