Kevin Herold of Oak Park captured this promising looking full rainbow in Oak Park yesterday, the 2nd and final day of clouds and light rains here in the Conejo Valley, Ventura County area. Although this fickle weather we're seeing is forecast to jump towards triple digit heat yet again towards the weekend, we were happy to see the rain and rainbows and hopeful for much more to come.
After a night of moderate rains (about 1/4 of an inch) in the Conejo Valley, a spectacular rainbow was seen this morning around 8 a.m. What a great start to the month of November!

Today was quite an unusual day of clear skies, rain, thunder, lightning and....rainbows! Chris Rowell of Newbury Park captured this outstanding shot of the double rainbow hovering above the Conejo Valley late this afternoon. You don't see rainbows this clear that often!
It had been awhile since we had rain around here! But apparently the sun is coming back this weekend. That's a good thing because there are quite a number of pumpkin patches around town awaiting visitors. See you there! The weather was seasonably warm this Labor Day weekend and under partly cloudy skies most of the day. To me the weather seemed picture perfect, and I believe this rainbow photo taken from the North Ranch section of Westlake Village sums up what a great weekend it was.

As reported on Sunday, there was quite a beautiful rainbow at the Camarillo Town Center Shopping Center on Sunday. Well pro photographer John B. Mueller just happened to be there, and like the good photorapher that he is, had a wide angle lens with him. Target, are you looking at this amazing shot!

We had some showers today, interspersed with some sun. Conejo Valley resident Kimberly Gardner was at the Camarillo Target center today when she and other shoppers were treated to quite an amazing rainbow. Target must have been having quite a sale today or something! That was a beauty!
