Pottery Barn and Williams Sonoma are coming next spring to the former Nike Store space at The Promenade at Westlake. There’s currently a Pottery Barn and Williams Sonoma at The Oaks mall, five miles away.
Coming to the former home of Sur La Table at The Promenade at Westlake this summer is Roche Bobois. "Roche Bobois is a world leader in high-end furniture design and distribution. Working closely with renowned designers and haute couture fashion houses, Roche Bobois offers a broad range of exclusive made-to-order designs manufactured with a high level of customization in small European workshops."
The Container Store, the nation’s leading retailer of storage and organization solutions, custom spaces, and in-home organizing services, will open its third small-format store on April 1st in California at Village at Moorpark, located at 33 N. Moorpark, Thousand Oaks. This will be The Container Store’s 97th retail location nationally and its fourteenth store in California.
The newest addition to The Container Store will be 15,248 square-feet and will feature thousands of storage and organization products for every area of the home, its full offering of Custom Spaces (closets, living and garage) as well as unmatched services like in-home organization and free in-home design and in-store design. Thousand Oaks is only the third of The Container Store’s new smaller-format stores – and the first in California.

A drive-thru Dunkin’ (aka Dunkin Donuts and The Learning Experience children’s daycare center have signed leases at the Conejo Gateway plaza at the corner of Wendy Drive and Old Conejo Road in Newbury Park
Dunkin’ will be located on an 1,800 square foot building pad, with outdoor seating areas. The Learning Experience will be 9,900 square foot building with a fenced outdoor play area.
Timing TBA. Construction has not commenced yet but sections of the plaza have been fenced.
Last month we mentioned that another new tenant, Pizza Twist, is coming soon to the plaza, next to Sports Clips.
The Container Store is "coming soon" to The Village at Moorpark in Thousand Oaks (33 North Moorpark Road), in the former Pier 1 store. They are currently hiring for the store at www.containerstore.com/careers.

Nectar of the Dogs Wine is the first wine tasting room to open in the city of Simi Valley. It will open beginning Saturday, Jan. 14 at 1 p.m., with a grand opening celebration scheduled the weekend of March 18-19.
The Nectar of the Dogs Wine tasting room will feature a rotating tasting menu highlighting the most current portfolio of wine. Guests can choose from a wide selection of wines sourced from boutique wineries from the Central Coast up to Sonoma County including single vineyard varietals and unique blends. In addition to tastings, visitors can purchase wine by the glass or bottle, as well as scented candles and apparel.
The location will be a meeting place for wine club members to enjoy special events and pickup parties, and serve as an event space for themed nights, private parties and more. The rustic industrial styled tasting room will give guests a place to raise their glass in honor of rescue dogs and learn about adoptable pets available from local rescue partners all while sipping on bright wines in a warm, intimate environment.
The tasting room is located at 791 Chambers Lane, Suite 110 in Simi Valley and will be open to the public from 1 - 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Hours may vary seasonally so visitors are encouraged to check the website or Instagram for the latest updates. Please note - due to restrictions, at this time dogs are not allowed in the tasting room.

CVG Instagram follower Lucas C let us know today that Petco Westlake Village is closing. A store representative indicated that December 24 will be their final day. Petco is, soon to be was, located next to Trader Joe's at 3835 E Thousand Oaks Boulevard in the North Ranch Shopping Center.
There was some discussion via Instagram and Facebook as to what is coming next to this spot. Could Trader Joe’s be expanding? Well, according to a current North Ranch Shopping Center site leasing brochure, what looks to be happening is that the Trek Bike Shop will be moving from its existing spot to the larger Petco spot, freeing up its current space for Daiso Japan. Daiso is a Japanese variety and value store offering a wide range of household items. There are Daiso stores in West Hills and Northridge. Learn more at daisojapan.com.
