Makenna Koffee, with locations in Simi Valley and Valencia, is opening a 3rd location in Westlake Village in the North Ranch Shopping Center at 3825 E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard in the former Veggie Grill location (that closed in May 2023). Timing TBA. Learn more about Makenna at makennakoffee.com.
House of Bamboo tiki lounge is in process of being built at 2227 Ventura Blvd in Old Town Camarillo, between Elm and Fir, across from the Studio Channel Islands Art Center. Selvin's Restaurant + Lounge is opening to the public on June 21st. Located at the Palm Garden Hotel on Ventu Park Road in Thousand Oaks, its founder is local entrepreneur and band leader, 97 year young Harry Selvin. Its menu includes entrees like Seared Scallop Risotto, Seared Pacific Halibut and Steak Frites, pizzas, salads, appetizers and more. Learn more at www.selvins.com..

The Curry Leaf, which previously operated in Camarillo on Mission Oaks Blvd but closed a couple years ago, will be re-opening soon at 4952 Verdugo Way in Camarillo (previously St. Francis BBQ), near the Old New York Deli.
