Downtown Ventura presents the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 10 am on Main Street, Downtown Ventura. The 39th Annual California Strawberry Festival will take place Saturday and Sunday, May 17-18, 2025 at the Ventura County Fairgrounds (10 W. Harbor Blvd., Ventura). Festivalgoers can indulge in strawberry treats from over 50 food and beverage booths. Strawberry-themed nachos, chocolate-dipped strawberries, strawberry kabobs, popcorn, and margaritas are just a few of the choices. The festival also features 150 artists and crafters, a Strawberryland for kids, live entertainment on three stages, carnival rides, and a "build-your-own" strawberry shortcake experience.
Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. both days. General admission is $15, active military with ID and family and seniors 62 and over, $10, youth ages 5 to 12, $8 and children 4 and under are free. Limited parking onsite. Visitors are encouraged to use the free shuttle service nearby or take advantage of the Ventura Amtrak Station across the street. The Earth Day Festival will return to downtown Ventura on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm at Plaza Park on East Thompson Blvd. Some event highlights include opening remarks and Chumash blessing, live performances by Inlakech Art Center’s Mariachi Band & Ballet Folkrórico; and local musical talent.
Event will also feature environmental booths and sustainable goods, local food vendors, EV showcase, and more.

The 21st Annual David Mann Chopperfest is planned for Sunday, February 9, 2025 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ventura County Fairgrounds.
This event features vendors, a new and used part swap meet, new and old school bike show, an art exhibit, live blues and rock bands, a tribute to David Mann, beer, food and more! $15 pre-sale; $20 at the door. Kids 12 and under free. Military with ID $15.

Ventura Harbor celebrates the season with its 48th Annual Holiday Parade of Lights and Fireworks on Friday, December 13th and Saturday, December 14th, 2024, starting at 6:30 pm. This year's theme is “Candy Land.”
The two-day fun filled event includes a carnival, seaside shopping and dining followed by the lighted boat parade at 6:30 pm. Parking and admission are free. Fireworks at 8pm! (weather permitting)
Kids’ rides, carnival games and food vendors on the Harbor Village main lawn available starting at 4 pm. Faux snowfall and LED performers along the Harbor Village promenade at 5:30 p.m.
