/Update 4/17/12: In a new Craigslist post yesterday they indicated one last casting call this Thursday/Friday for high energy, friendly Hooters Girls...the final "guaranteed" in-person interview prior before the grand opening (Date still TBA).

Original Post 3/15/12: Well it has been nearly a year now since the Ventura County Star broke the news that about a Hooters opening at the vacated Sizzler/Fuddruckers building in the east parking lot of Janss Marketplace (at the corner of Brazil St and Moorpark Road, adjacent to the equally vacant El Torito building).
Yesterday Hooters posted a hiring event for kitchen crew, waitresses (aka Hooters Girls) and staff. The event will take place next Thursday through Saturday, March 22-24 at Hooters of Thousand Oaks, from 10am to 4pm. See details below from craigslist.
No word on opening date at this point. If you apply for a job there and find out the scoop, let us know! I will not be applying to be a Hooters Girl. I don't look good in orange. And I guess I'm the wrong gender.
